Position Summary

NuAxis Innovations is seeking an experienced Physical Security Manager to lead large-scale IP-based physical-security and video-surveillance initiatives supporting Job Corps centers nationwide. The Physical Security Project includes campus-wide IP video surveillance, physical access control, badge readers, door controllers, emergency broadcast systems and supporting network/server infrastructure. The Manager will oversee project planning, system design requirements, deployments, contractor coordination, budgets, lifecycle planning and post-deployment support.

Responsibilities

• Lead nationwide IP-based physical-security and surveillance projects.
  
• Coordinate with Government organizations and stakeholders to establish deployment priorities and design requirements.
  
• Develop and/or oversee Statements of Work, technical requirements and specifications for security-system projects.
  
• Manage contractors through facility surveys, design, installation, configuration, commissioning, testing and training.
  
• Oversee video-surveillance and physical-access-control deployments.
  
• Manage project schedules, deployment status, service calls and budget tracking.
  
• Ensure installations conform to system-design requirements, Job Corps standards and applicable industry standards.
  
• Oversee lifecycle planning for cameras, servers, storage, network appliances and supporting security technologies.
  
• Evaluate physical-security architecture, including network dependencies, bandwidth, system interoperability and storage requirements.
  
• Coordinate post-deployment maintenance, hardware/software refreshes and break/fix activities.
  
• Work closely with center personnel, technical teams and Government stakeholders regarding access, asset tracking, deployment schedules and site-specific requirements.
  
• Support nationwide simultaneous deployments and contractor activities.
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing IP-based physical-security projects.
  
• Minimum 10 years collaborating across different agencies or organizations to align priorities and achieve shared objectives.
  
• Minimum 10 years guiding teams and contractors through complex installations, ensuring compliance with design intent and industry standards.
  
• Minimum 10 years managing and leading IT professionals.
  
• Minimum 5 years writing detailed requirements and specifications for large-scale physical-security and video-surveillance projects.
  
• Minimum 5 years designing and evaluating physical-security system architecture, including:
  
  • Network dependencies
    
  • Bandwidth requirements
    
  • System interoperability
    
• Minimum 5 years of lifecycle-management experience involving cameras, servers, storage and network appliances.
