Job Description

We are seeking a Platform Developer / Engineer to support identity-focused platform capabilities within Deloitte's Digital Trust & Privacy offering. This role develops, configures, integrates, and maintains identity and access management (ICAM) platform capabilities, supporting automation, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement across Oracle and related identity services. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Oracle and related identity services, platform engineering, and cross-functional delivery in a dynamic environment.

Work you'll do

As a Platform Developer / Engineer on the Digital Trust & Privacy team, you will be responsible for...
  • Design, build, test, deploy, and support identity platform capabilities that improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency
  • Develop, configure, integrate, and maintain Oracle-based identity and access management solutions across enterprise environments
  • Partner with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to translate technical and business requirements into platform enhancements
  • Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot defects, and implement fixes to improve availability and stability
  • Contribute to documentation, standards, testing, automation, and release practices that support continuous improvement and adoption

The team

Digital Trust & Privacy helps organizations address identity, security, and privacy challenges across business and technology environments. The team supports the design and delivery of solutions that strengthen access management, improve governance, and enable secure enterprise transformation. This role will focus on Oracle and related identity services within a collaborative, cross-functional delivery environment.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, identity engineering, or cloud engineering
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle Identity and Access Management or related identity services
  • 2+ years of experience with scripting or programming languages used for automation or application development
  • Experience with version control, build pipelines, and production support practices
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:
  • Experience with Oracle identity integrations, connectors, or lifecycle management capabilities
  • Experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, or continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
  • Experience supporting access controls, compliance requirements, or identity governance processes
  • Experience working in professional services or large enterprise environments

This compensation range is specific to Remote role and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,700 to $179,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
