Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to join a classified customer focused on command control, battle management, communications, and ballistic missile defense operations. This is a 100% on-site position located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role will deal with implementation and maintenance of defense systems. This role requires active top secret clearance.

Responsibilities of the Network Engineer will include:
- Implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure
- Ensuring reliable connectivity across LAN/WAN environments as well as collaboration with senior engineers on design and optimization
- Configure devices such as routers, switches and firewalls
- Monitor network performance, resolve and troubleshoot any connectivity issues across technologies including VLANs, routing protocols, and other network security controls.
- Traveling to remote locations to perform network installations
Qualifications for the Network Engineer include:
- 3+ years of related experience as well as a post-secondary degree or training in a related field
- Must have experience in understanding software development lifecycle
- Expertise in Information Assurance (IA) NIST standard code
- IAT level II 8579 Compliant Certification
- Active top secret security Clearence
- CCNA or JNCIA certification with mid-level experience of network design and development as well as firewall experience
Compensation for Product Security Engineer include:
- Salary: $120,000 - $135,000
