Principal Network Installation Technician (NIT-4)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Network Installation Technician (NIT-4) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network infrastructure, system administration, and technical support, with a focus on installation, configuration, and maintenance of complex network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure solutions.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware and software components.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in network installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• NIT-4 certification or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of network protocols, topologies, and security principles.
• Experience with various operating systems and network management tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.

Clearance Requirements:

Active Secret clearance required.
