Audio Visual Technician (Secret)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Visual Technician to support critical missions at our US-MD-Fort Meade location. This position requires an active Secret clearance and offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment including projectors, cameras, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AV systems used in mission-critical operations
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of AV solutions
• Develop and maintain documentation for AV systems and procedures
• Participate in regular training and certification programs to stay current with emerging technologies
• Support special events and exercises requiring specialized AV capabilities

Required Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience with professional audio-visual equipment and systems
• Experience with video conferencing platforms and collaboration tools
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and IP-based systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Experience with classified systems and secure environments
• Knowledge of emerging AV technologies and industry standards
• Previous military or government contracting experience
• Certification in relevant AV technologies (e.g., Crestron, Extron, etc.)
