We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cyber Range Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber security, network engineering, and hands-on experience with building and maintaining cyber ranges for training and testing purposes.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cyber Range Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber security, network engineering, and hands-on experience with building and maintaining cyber ranges for training and testing purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain cyber ranges and environments for training, testing, and simulation purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cyber range capabilities into larger systems and solutions.
- Develop and implement security controls, monitoring, and detection mechanisms within cyber ranges.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and red team exercises within cyber ranges.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal and external customers on cyber range capabilities and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging cyber threats, technologies, and industry standards to ensure the effectiveness of cyber range solutions.
- Document and maintain detailed documentation of cyber range architectures, configurations, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in cyber security, network engineering, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and security concepts.
- Experience with virtualization, cloud computing, and containerization technologies.
- Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Clearance Requirement:
Active Secret clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with specific cyber range platforms and tools (e.g., Kali Linux, Metasploit, Nessus).
- Knowledge of industry-standard frameworks and methodologies (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT).
- Experience working with government or defense sector clients.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP.
