Computer Systems Analyst, IT I

Job Description

Overview:
By Light is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst, IT I to support critical IT infrastructure and operations for our federal clients. This role involves analyzing, designing, and implementing IT solutions to meet mission requirements while ensuring security and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Design and implement IT solutions including network configurations, software installations, and system integrations
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions on time and within scope
• Document system designs, configurations, and procedures
• Participate in system testing and validation activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support and systems analysis
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Security clearance (Secret or higher)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and techniques
• Experience with agile development methodologies
