Journeyman NetOps Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Journeyman NetOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in network operations, cybersecurity, and system administration. This role requires a strong understanding of network infrastructure, security protocols, and the ability to monitor and respond to network events in real-time.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain network systems and infrastructure
• Investigate and respond to network security incidents
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network issues
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure network availability and performance
• Document network configurations and changes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in network operations or cybersecurity
• Experience with network monitoring tools and SIEM solutions
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols
• Understanding of firewall configurations and intrusion detection systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Clearance Requirements:
Active Secret clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• TS/SCI clearance
• Experience with cloud-based network solutions
• Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
