The Security Representative responsibilities include:
- Develops, administers and audits security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export controlled data.
- Develops and executes security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies.
- Performs in individual and team roles supporting all contractual security requirements for DOD collateral classified programs.
- Serves as a Security Representative. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in DOD security rules (NISPOM).
- Works closely with U. S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and seeks security rulings or deviations.
- Provides support in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and program.
- Prepares implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials.
- Develops and conducts security education classes. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
- Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges, and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners.
- Processes clearances and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings.
Basic Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
- Knowledge of Government Security Databases (DISS and/or NISS).
- Knowledge of NISPOM, 32 CFR Part 117.
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft office products with the ability to produce clear reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
- Willingness to be flexible and must be willing to travel occasionally, use of personal vehicle to move between base locations, and to work varied hours, including evenings and after-hours shifts, when launch or operational demands dictate.
Desired Skills
- Prior Industrial Security experience in a Program Security Representative (PSR) role.
- Experience supporting Government Security program activities to include personnel and physical security program activities.
- Experience with government inspections, including readiness reviews and compliance audits, to demonstrates the ability to maintain a secure, audit ready posture.
- Experience working in a security related discipline (DoD, SCI or SAP programs) and ability to interpret policies.
- Experience with various security databases (DISS, SIMS, PRISM, etc.).
- Familiar working on military installations and understanding operations performed in a high paced launch environment.
- Knowledge of 32 CFR PART 117, SECNAV M-5510.36, DON Information Security Program manual, USSF and USAF policies.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to design and deliver security training . Experience with classification marking reviews.
- Strong interpersonal and team building skills.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
