Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services is seeking an experienced Transmitter Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead to provide technical and programmatic leadership for transmitter development, integration, and production activities supporting advanced defense systems.
The Transmitter IPT Lead will serve as a key interface across engineering, program management, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customers to ensure transmitter-related activities are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with technical and program requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Transmitter IPT and provide day-to-day technical and programmatic direction.
- Establish and maintain IPT priorities, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate transmitter design, development, integration, testing, qualification, and production activities.
- Partner closely with systems, electrical, mechanical, RF, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and program management teams.
- Monitor technical performance, cost, schedule, risks, and resource requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical and programmatic issues and drive timely corrective actions.
- Lead IPT meetings, design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and program status activities.
- Coordinate with internal leadership, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders as required.
- Ensure technical requirements and customer commitments are understood, documented, and successfully executed.
- Support development of technical plans, schedules, estimates, proposals, and program reviews.
- Identify opportunities to improve product performance, manufacturability, reliability, cost, and schedule.
- Provide technical mentorship and leadership to engineers and other team members.
- Support transition from development through production and sustainment.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering processes, quality standards, contractual requirements, and government regulations.
Experience and Skills
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- [8+] years of relevant experience in defense, aerospace, RF, electronics, transmitter, or related hardware development.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering or integrated product teams.
- Experience taking complex hardware products through development, integration, test, qualification, and/or production.
- Strong understanding of engineering development processes and configuration management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced program environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering, operations, program management, customers, and senior leadership.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience with military radar, RF systems, transmitters, or other high-power RF/electronic systems.
- Experience working on government defense contracts and programs.
- Experience with hardware development and production in an AS9100 or similar quality environment.
- Experience with Earned Value Management, integrated master schedules, or other program management tools.
- Active DoD security clearance.
- Experience leading technical teams through major design reviews, qualification, and production milestones.
