Position Summary
Odyssey has an exciting new opportunity for a Program Manager supporting the Mobile Command and Control Systems Program Office within the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center.
The MC2S Program Office team provides a full range of modernization and sustainment acquisition support to the MC2S. The MC2S Program Office team performs technical studies, designs solutions for modernization projects, manages platform configurations, coordinates programmed depot maintenance and unprogrammed depot-level repairs, supports cybersecurity requirements, and manages the testing of the products.
This position is located at Peterson SFB, CO, supporting AFNWC/NCCM.

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI.

Responsibilities
- The individual shall have comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force.
- Individual must have knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of acquisition programs.
- Individual has the knowledge of support activities that assist the PM in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines, be able to recommend viable solutions to problems and the pursuit of alternative courses of action.
- Individual must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, and plans).
- Individual shall be able to plan, research, analyze and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment; formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule and performance objectives.
- Individual shall be able to support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
- Possesses expert knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be considered an industry leader in their technical/professional field.
- Typically performs the following kinds of functions: initiates, oversees, and/or develops requirements from a project's inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs; provides strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff; provides detailed analyses, evaluations, and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues; consults with client to define needs or problems; oversees studies; and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
- Possesses the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior, journeyman, and senior contractor personnel within and across multiple technical/professional disciplines.

- 25 or more years of program management experience, 5 of which within DoD OR,
- Bachelor's degree with 10 or more years of program management experience, 5 of which within DoD
