We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. This role involves leading security initiatives and implementing robust security measures to protect critical systems and data.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security architectures and frameworks
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
• Lead incident response and disaster recovery efforts
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the SDLC
• Stay current with emerging security threats and trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in information security
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM preferred
• Strong understanding of network security, cryptography, and secure coding practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)
• Experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls)
