Journeyman Logistician Operations Specialist
Location: San Antonio, TX
Workplace: Hybrid (in-office w/ some work from home)

Summary of Position
Responsible for Managing the supply and distribution of SIPRNet and NEATS hardware tokens for the Air Force, and 5 Air Force supported combatant commands, and US Space Force. The chosen applicant will provide oversight and strategic guidance to the AF PKI Government leadership, all MAJCOM and AF supported COCOMS. Facilitate collaborative efforts between the DoD PKI Program office, DoD AF Vault Manager, AF leadership, and other PKI sections to resolve bottlenecks, streamline support/solutions being provided to customer token issues, and mature reporting processes using agile methodologies.
The ideal candidate will be a strong independent worker with excellent management and logistician skillsets. An outgoing demeanor to promote a collaborative environment both internally and externally. A critical thinker that can also think Out-of-the-box committed to continuously improving token trend identification, insight generation, and process optimization through accurate data visualization and analysis with the ability to develop efficient strategies and tactics.

Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee activities that include purchasing projections for resupply of DAF token inventory, distribution of tokens, and inventory and warehousing of DAF SIPR and NEATS tokens
- Coordinates with the AF PKI Government Program Manager (PM) for short and long term token requirements
- Responsible for keeping the PM informed of SIPRNet and NEATS token inventory status, new requirements, and situations that may arise that involve the need to fulfill unexpected requirements
- Provide efficient storage solutions for accurate accountability of token inventories
- Track and manage the entire lifecycle of DAF tokens from projections of purchase requirements, tracking burn rate of tokens, inventory located at the AF PKI SPO and at the DoD vault, and destruction of failed tokens
- Track the distribution of SIPRNet and NEATS tokens and prepare reports at the request of the OPS Section Lead and PM to include but not limited to; rate of distribution, number of tokens provided to US Space Force (USSF) and overall inventory status
- Act as the AF Inventory Manager within the Token Management System (TMS) on SIPRNet
- Responsible for setting up Air Force sites in TMS, administer site configuration, assign roles to personnel (i.e. shipping managers)
- Responsible for processing token transfers in TMS (between the AF warehouse and the other services, AF sites, etc.)
- Coordinate with the AF Vault Manager (DOD personnel) to track the distribution of NEATs tokens and prepare reports at the request of the PM
- Act as the AF Warehouse Manager within the Integrated Logistics System (ILS) hosted on the Integrated Logistics Portal (ILP) on NIPRNet
- Adjudicate all requests for token resupply across the DAF and AF supported COCOMs and US Space Force
- Provide instructions and guidance to all AF site on processing failed tokens
- Respond to all questions and inquiries from the field regarding any aspects of hardware token management and usage
- Responsible to set up Air Force sites within ILS and manage site configuration (administer site information changes, assign roles to personnel, etc.)
- Assist with processing token transfers through ILS when necessary, between the AF warehouse and supported AF sites
- Provide support for 5 Combatant Commands by understanding their missions, Ops tempo, and special needs which in turn helps to adjudicate their special requests for tokens in a timely manner
- Resolve token issues that may arise at AF sites and strategic issues that may need the attention of AF PKI SPO leadership
- Mature/standardize programmatic reporting using Service Now
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships across the DAF and AF PKI SPO with regards to token support
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- 5 years relevant work experience
- 5+ years' experience in managing and providing logistics project planning
- 5+ years' experience in Logistics Support
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as item/inventory or logistics manager with knowledge of the theories, principles and techniques involving logistic processes and Air Force supply systems
- Proven experience with DEERS/RAPIDS or similar identification systems, including issuing cards and verifying user data and identity.
- Ability to manage cardstock, consumables, and maintain DEERS/RAPIDS equipment in operational condition.
- Strong capability to update and maintain the RAPIDS SOP and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
- Eligibility to complete and maintain VO and SSM certification training within 30 days of the contract start date of June 1, 2025.
- Experience with inventory control and equipment accountability, movement of stock, maintaining records, performing inventory audits.
- Data entry to produce Government reports and briefings as well as establish and maintain an orderly and comprehensive project
