Summary:
• Extract meaning and value from structured and unstructured data using statistical methods, machine learning, and visualization tools.
• Lead software development teams, analyze requirements, and architect scalable data flows.
• Utilize modern data processing technologies including Java, Python, Scala, Apache NiFi, Pig, Hadoop MapReduce, and Apache Spark.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 17+ years
• Total Compensation: $323k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Devise strategies to extract meaning and value from structured and unstructured data leveraging statistical techniques and machine learning.
• Serve as technical lead for software development teams, guiding architecture, process selection, and quality control.
• Architect and implement data flows, enrichment, and conversion pipelines using Java, Python, Scala, and Apache NiFi.
• Scale algorithms across high-volume data repositories utilizing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop MapReduce, and Pig.
• Develop new methodologies for automated data characterization, schema mapping, and query development across XML, CSV, and JSON data formats.
• Collaborate with systems engineering teams and stakeholders to analyze requirements and support compliant data management solutions.
