Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to develop software applications that control, configure, and monitor advanced RF hardware systems. This role supports the full lifecycle of our products’ concept and design through prototyping, testing, production, field deployment, and long-term support.
Core Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications used to control and monitor RF hardware systems.
• Create software interfaces that communicate with RF hardware and test equipment over network and hardware communication protocols.
• Develop modern web-based user interfaces for system configuration, monitoring, diagnostics, and data visualization.
• Integrate new software development with legacy command and control systems.
• Establish and maintain software development infrastructure tools.
• Develop software test procedures and test verification scripts.
• Consult with customers on requirements and/or maintenance of software applications.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning activities.
• Provide technical support to customers and employees.
• Collaborate across RF, electrical, network and mechanical disciplines to ensure successful system integration.
Qualifications & Requirements
General Qualifications:
• 10 - 15+ years of professional experience in software development, computer science or related job functions.
• Strong proficiency with modern C++ and Python.
• Proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (or other RPM based distro).
• Experience writing clients to communicate with HTTP APIs.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQLite).
• Experience building modern web applications and user interfaces.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Security clearance with eligibility for SCI with CI polygraph.
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with FastAPI and modern Python service architectures.
• Experience with Vue.js and TypeScript-based frontend development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or SQLite database design and optimization.
• A passion for readable, maintainable asynchronous Python code using type hinting, formatting, and automated documentation.
• Experience with PHP, Perl, and Bash scripting.
• Experience with hardened Linux system administration (fapolicyd, pamd, usbguard, SELinux, etc.).
• Familiarity with RF systems, software-defined radios (SDRs), wireless communications, radar, satellite communications, or test-and-measurement equipment.

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree (B. S.) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field from a U.S. Department of Education accredited college or university. Equivalent experience, training and/or certifications for the degree can be substituted for education. Relevant experience is job-related work that provides the necessary knowledge, skill, and abilities to perform the essential functions.
Compensation and Benefits
• Salary Range: $130,000-$170,000
• 401(k) Retirement Plan
◦ Company contributions equivalent to 25% of base pay, with no employee matching required for full contribution amount
• Employees vested from first day of employment
