Job Description

Our Deloitte Cyber team understands the unique challenges and opportunities businesses face in cybersecurity. Join our team to deliver powerful solutions to help our clients navigate the ever-changing threat landscape. Through powerful solutions and managed services that simplify complexity, we enable our clients to operate with resilience, grow with confidence, and proactively manage to secure success.

We are seeking an impactful cyber risk reduction professional that can add value by helping organizations identify, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities across complex technology environments. As a Cyber Remediation Analyst, you will analyze large volumes of vulnerability data, develop leadership-ready dashboards and visualizations, and present remediation recommendations that support informed decision-making. This role is expected to work 100% onsite at the client location. An active Secret security clearance or higher is preferred; sponsorship for clearance may be available based on role requirements.

Work you'll do

As a Cyber Remediation Analyst on the Cyber Risk team, you will be responsible for supporting vulnerability remediation efforts through analysis, reporting, and leadership-ready recommendations.
  • Evaluate and prioritize high volumes of cyber vulnerabilities using spreadsheet-based analysis and defined risk criteria
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations for leadership review and remediation tracking
  • Analyze remediation status, aging, and risk trends to identify priority actions and escalation items
  • Develop presentation materials and brief recommendations to support leadership decisions on vulnerability response and remediation planning
  • Coordinate with technical and business stakeholders to document remediation progress, blockers, and next steps

A successful candidate would possess these skills:
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
  • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
  • Ability to lead projects or workstreams
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to provide clear guidance to others

The team

Our Cyber Risk team helps organizations strengthen their security posture by identifying risks, improving visibility, and supporting effective remediation across technology environments. The team works across security, infrastructure, and application stakeholders to drive practical outcomes that reduce exposure and improve operational resilience. Professionals on this team support data-driven decision-making by translating technical findings into actionable remediation priorities for leadership review.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, remediation, or security operations
  • Experience evaluating and prioritizing vulnerability findings using spreadsheet-based analysis
  • Experience developing dashboards and visualizations in Power BI
  • Experience developing presentation materials in Microsoft PowerPoint for stakeholder or leadership review
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, tracking, and reporting
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:
  • Active Secret security clearance or higher
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Experience supporting Federal or defense-sector environments
  • Experience with Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS), or Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Experience coordinating remediation across infrastructure, application, and asset management teams
  • Certification such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
