MTSI proudly participates in the Department of War (DoW) SkillBridge Program, providing eligible transitioning service members the opportunity to gain civilian work experience and prepare for the next chapter of their careers while completing their military service.

This posting represents ongoing interest in MTSI's SkillBridge Program and is not tied to one specific opening. SkillBridge opportunities depend on eligibility, timing, location, MTSI's anticipated hiring needs, and the availability of an appropriate training experience.

Founded in 1993 by two retired U.S. Air Force engineers, MTSI has grown into a 100% employee-owned company, with veterans representing approximately 40% of our workforce. We understand the experience, perspective, and commitment to mission that transitioning service members bring, and we're proud to help military professionals explore what's next.

MTSI offers two pathways to participate in SkillBridge:

• Hiring Our Heroes (HoH) Fellowships: Participate through scheduled HoH fellowship cohorts.
• MTSI Off-Cycle Fellowships: Participate directly with MTSI outside of the HoH cohort schedule, providing greater flexibility for different military transition timelines.

How SkillBridge Works at MTSI

Utilize this application to tell us about yourself. We'll ask about your military experience, career interests, preferred location, transition timeline, and other information that helps us understand what you're looking for.

We look for alignment. When your background and timing align with potential opportunities at MTSI, our Talent Acquisition team may connect with you to learn more and explore possible fits.

We identify the right training opportunity. If there is alignment, we'll work internally to determine whether there is an appropriate team and approved training experience that supports both your transition goals and potential future opportunities with MTSI.

You begin your transition. If selected and approved to participate, your fellowship gives you the opportunity to learn how your military experience translates into a civilian environment while developing new skills, relationships, and experience.

We intentionally look for SkillBridge matches where we see strong potential for a successful fellow to continue with MTSI as a full-time employee after military service.

Because each fellowship is developed around the individual and an appropriate training opportunity, submitting your information does not guarantee placement in an MTSI SkillBridge fellowship.

What to Expect as an MTSI SkillBridge Fellow

Each MTSI SkillBridge fellowship is structured around an approved training experience designed to help you build practical, transferable skills in a civilian environment.

During your fellowship, you can expect opportunities to:

• Apply and build upon skills developed throughout your military career.
• Gain hands-on training and experience in a civilian work environment.
• Learn new tools, technologies, processes, and ways of working.
• Receive mentorship, feedback, and professional development support from MTSI employees.
• Build relationships with professionals across MTSI, including many who have made the transition from military service themselves.
• Explore how your skills and interests may align with a long-term career at MTSI.

Specific training activities and experiences vary by fellowship and are structured in accordance with SkillBridge requirements and the applicable training plan.

SkillBridge Eligibility

MTSI SkillBridge fellows must meet applicable DoW and military service eligibility requirements and receive approval through their service and chain of command.

Additional requirements vary by fellowship and may include location, education or experience, security clearance, site access, and other requirements associated with the specific training opportunity.

MTSI's goal is to identify SkillBridge opportunities with strong potential to lead to full-time employment. Participation in SkillBridge does not guarantee an offer of employment. Future employment is dependent on successful completion of the fellowship, mutual fit, an available position, and applicable position requirements.
