We have an immediate need for a Senior Program Control Analyst to support an important government customer in McLean, VA. The Senior Program Control Analyst is responsible for various project financial, cost, and schedule activities and provides primary support to the Corporate Finance Department and the Program Management team.

This is a hybrid full time position. 

Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in project finance over multiple operational and project efforts; forecasting and tracking labor costs; assist with invoicing and collections; analyzing actuals, committed and planned costs; responsible for Estimate at Completion (EAC) creation and analysis with operations / client
  • Prepare Monthly Financial Reports, ensure project financials are accurate, and ensure that the customer is fully aware of all financial funding issues in advance
  • Assist in contract communication and financial analysis with the finance and accounting departments regarding forecasts, funding, burn rate, etc.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis, manage cost, materials, milestone execution, and staffing levels on highly visible projects
  • Maintain good internal controls and policies based on contract requirements, accounting/financial standards, and procurements processes
  • Proactively review established contract processes and procedures, assist with implementing changes where applicable to enhance the contracts effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Monitoring timesheet compliance, contractor hours and inform management of any issues requiring action
  • Help to ensure timely execution of all task order requirements from inception to completion
  • Track subcontractor funding allocation with Prime contract, subcontractor funding, subcontractor billing and payments
  • Effectively establish relationship across multiple Corporate functions including: Operations, Accounting, Contracts, HR, etc.
  • Understand and apply FAR and DAR requirements related to small business subcontracting plans, cost accounting standards, Truth in Negotiation Act, and Commercial Determination as applicable to appropriate prime contract and agency regulations
  • Verbal and written communication with both government and Program Management Team across all operational and financial aspects of the contract
  • Travel up to 10%


Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or similar field)
  • 3+ years of experience in an Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required


Preferred Experience/Qualifications


  • Experience with program finance on contracts, including Cost plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Firm Fixed-Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T&M)

  • Experience with supporting proposals in a demanding and fast-paced environment for defense, national security, or civil federal acquisitions

  • General knowledge of GAAP / FASB

  • Deltek Costpoint experience


Special Requirements/Security Clearance

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance


Salary Range

Salary Minimum: $105,000

Salary Maximum: $125,000

The annual base salary provided is a guideline for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
