PRISM is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to support a mission-critical program. In this role, you will be responsible for the reliability, performance, and scalability of complex distributed systems, including cybersecurity services, network operations, network engineering, service desk, seat support services, and data transport.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Windows Platform Services team is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and securing Windows Server operating systems within a large-scale enterprise environment.
Perform Windows Server patching, IAVA vulnerability remediation, and security compliance activities across supported environments.
Build, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 systems.
Support the full IT infrastructure lifecycle, including planning, installation, configuration, ongoing administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, and decommissioning.
Ensure Windows Server platforms remain compliant with established operational policies, security requirements, and industry standards.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operating system, infrastructure, patching, and application-related issues.
Perform STIG remediation and support ongoing cybersecurity compliance activities.
Support critical enterprise applications, infrastructure, and services in coordination with internal technical teams, customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Participate in projects and operational initiatives of moderate complexity, providing technical analysis, recommendations, and implementation support.
Exercise independent judgment within established processes and procedures to identify appropriate technical solutions and corrective actions.
Evaluate unique technical situations and provide recommendations to improve system reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS/EDUCATION)
IAT Level 2 Certification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
Ability to work an afternoon/night shift, Tuesday through Saturday
Strong communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
Candidates should generally have 2-5 years of relevant experience supporting Windows Server or enterprise IT environments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Windows Server administration and troubleshooting
Windows Server patching and IAVA vulnerability mitigation
Windows Server builds, including Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022
Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) remediation and compliance
Experience supporting Windows platforms within a large-scale enterprise environment
Additional technical certifications related to Windows Server administration, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, or infrastructure operations are a plus.
