THE WORK

The Program Quality Engineer Stf is responsible for implementing and executing quality requirements throughout the full life-cycle of a program - from proposal and contract review through start-up, development, transition to production, and sustained support. The role provides integrated quality oversight across hardware, software, and suppliers/subcontractors, ensuring alignment with company policies, AS9100, contractual obligations, and customer expectations. The scope of the role will include direct support of the C2 Ground portfolio of programs in the RMS Deer Creek facility, as well as leading Supplier Quality and Hardware Quality process development/training at Deer Creek. Key tasks will include:

- Key Subcontractor oversight, source inspection, requirements flowdown, defect resolution

- Supplier defect and SCAR resolution

- Production hardware inspections

- Receiving inspection

- Metrology

- Nonconforming Material Control Process definition, training, and execution

- Drive 1LMX readiness via integrating common Production Operations & Quality workflows

The incumbent partners directly with program teams as the Quality expert for design, development, production, and mobilization phases, driving risk-based quality planning, audits, and continuous-improvement initiatives while managing budgets, cost commitments, and relationships with internal and external Customers.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.

- Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance

- Previous experience in Quality Engineering

- Understanding of basic Hardware & Supplier Quality processes

- Familiarity with Quality Management System (QMS) standards, i.e. AS9100.

Desired Skills

- Background in a STEM discipline (e.g., engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field).

-Strong Supplier Quality experience (SCARs, source inspection, FAI, etc.)

- MRB certification and experience dispositioning hardware defects (i.e. Q-Notes)

- Strong Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) skills

- Experience performing Receiving Inspection

- Experience with Metrology processes

- Experience implementing Quality metrics

- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
