Position Description & Qualifications
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Comprehensive Error Rate Testing (CERT) program plays a vital role in safeguarding the integrity of the Medicare Fee-for-Service (FFS) program by ensuring that taxpayer-funded healthcare payments are accurate, appropriate, and compliant with federal requirements. Supporting CMS's obligations under the Payment Integrity Information Act (PIIA), the program uses statistically valid sampling and independent medical review of claims to identify improper payments and measure program performance. The insights generated through CERT enable CMS to strengthen accountability, improve healthcare delivery practices, and drive corrective actions that protect both beneficiaries and public funds. Through this work, the CERT program helps uphold transparency, stewardship, and trust in one of the nation's most critical healthcare systems.
This position provides technical and graphics expertise to support task order deliverables, reports, special studies and proposal work efforts.

This position provides technical and graphics expertise to support task order deliverables, reports, special studies and proposal work efforts.
Acountabilities:
- Ensures that contract deliverables meet customer requirements
- Assesses and reports the quality and content of PSC task order deliverables, reports and special studies
- Identifies variances or nonconformities within those documents
- Implements and/or coordinates actions to correct any identified problems
- Screens and edits task order documents
- Ensures that timeframes and deadlines for document submissions are met, or ensures that a waiver is obtained
- Determines and/or delegates resources necessary for completion of assignments
- Maintains corporate identity on all deliverables and presentations across contracts
- Performs quality assurance reviews of contract deliverables prior to submission to customer
- Creates and maintains documents and records related to deliverables submissions and quality review activities
- Effectively communicates with customer, stakeholders and task order management and employees.
- Complies with task order and organizational policies and procedures
- Attends educational programs as required
- Produces and submits required reports according to established content and timeframes
- Performs other projects or responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
- Effective time management and prioritization skills; able to work independently
- Ability to plan and manage multiple assignments and projects and adjust to changing priorities
- Proficiency with the use of graphics, desktop publishing and office automation systems (MS Word, Excel, Project, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Power Point)
- Effective communication skills
- Technical writing and editing skills
- Team focus; able to work with persons of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to use multiple product formats for conveying technical information in reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical users
- Knowledgeable of the federal contract and procurement regulations, and relevant contract and proposal requirements
Education
- Requires a Bachelor's degree
Experience
- 8-10 years of professional experience with at least two (2) years in a proposal coordination role, and marketing capacity
- Experience with defining specialized requirements, conceptualizing, and depicting designs/solutions
