Overview
The Scrum Master / Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting Agile development activities while providing end-to-end project management and systems engineering support throughout the project lifecycle. This position works closely with Product Owners, Release Managers, Technical Project Managers (TPMs), and other team members to maintain project schedules, manage product backlogs, remove impediments, and ensure successful delivery of system and subsystem solutions.

The Scrum Master / Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting Agile development activities while providing end-to-end project management and systems engineering support throughout the project lifecycle. This position works closely with Product Owners, Release Managers, Technical Project Managers (TPMs), and other team members to maintain project schedules, manage product backlogs, remove impediments, and ensure successful delivery of system and subsystem solutions.
What will you do?
- Facilitate daily stand-up (Scrum) meetings, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with Product Owners to maintain and manage product backlogs.
- Identify and remove obstacles and impediments that could negatively impact sprint execution.
- Keep the Technical Project Manager (TPM) informed of project status, progress, risks, and issues.
- Coordinate with the Release Manager to maintain accurate project plans, schedules, and roadmaps.
- Provide end-to-end project management support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for systems and subsystems.
- Support solutions using internally developed technologies and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products.
- Apply a total systems perspective when evaluating technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements across hardware and software components.
- Coordinate with team members to identify and implement effective solutions to technical and project-related challenges.
- Support appropriate risk-reduction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Help ensure solutions meet user requirements and promote overall user satisfaction.

- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Typically requires BS degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience
