BAE Systems has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Security Specialist who will ensure proper handling, accountability, and compliance for a technical library. In this position, you will apply expert knowledge of the latest Department of War (DOW) and Department of Navy policies, procedures, and standards to ensure that classified material is properly received, marked, stored, issued, transported, and destroyed. You will also conduct frequent audits to ensure process compliance and material accountability, track and remedy deficiencies, draft local policies and procedures, and train personnel. This position supports the Navy's Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC), and is in Wallops Island, Virginia.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Three (3) years of Information Security Experience OR A Security Professional Education Development (SPēD) Certification with two (2) years of experience to include: comprehensive knowledge of security requirements for handling, storage, inventory and destruction of national security information/material in accordance with SECNAV 5510 (series).
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Full-Time Salary Range: $51273 - $87164

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
