Mid Level Embedded Software Engineer

Warriors Solutions is seeking a Mid Level Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in Tampa, FL. This role involves designing, developing, and testing embedded software solutions for complex systems. You will work closely with hardware engineers, system architects, and other team members to deliver high-quality software that meets performance, reliability, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement embedded software applications using C/C++ and other relevant languages.
• Optimize software performance for real-time constraints and resource limitations.
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system-level tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Contribute to system documentation and maintainability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Experience with hardware interfaces (GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, etc.).
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
• Knowledge of safety-critical systems (e.g., automotive, aerospace).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Experience with static code analysis tools.
