Overview
VTG is seeking a Configuration Manager/Engineering Review Board Facilitator, located in Chantilly, Va.
What will you do?
The Junior Configuration Manager/Engineering Review Board (ERB) Facilitator provides engineering support to the enterprise customer. They need to coordinate amongst diverse stakeholders to ensure Requests for Change (RFCs) are written properly and are populated on the ERB agenda. They will also facilitate the ERB, ensuring stakeholder dispositions are recorded and presented to the chair. Decisions made by the chair concerning all RFCs are captured and entered into the configuration management system. This role ensures that satellite system baselines, engineering products, and technical changes are properly documented, reviewed, approved, and maintained throughout the program lifecycle. This position is ideal for an early-career professional interested in configuration management.

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $100,000 - $124,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.

Key Responsibilities:
Configuration Management
- Support configuration management (CM) activities for satellite systems, ground systems, and associated documentation.
- Maintain configuration baselines and controlled documentation repositories.
- Review RFCs to ensure cost and schedule impacts have been identified.
- Ensure stakeholder recommendations for RFCs as well as ERB dispositions are properly captured.
- Assist with configuration audits, reviews, and compliance assessments.
- Ensure program artifacts meet customer, contractual, and organizational configuration management requirements.
Engineering Facilitation & Coordination
- Coordinate amongst stakeholders to track ERB actions to closure.
- Prepare meeting agendas, meeting minutes, decision logs, and status reports.
Documentation & Data Management
- Generate reports and metrics related to configuration status, document releases, and change activity.

Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- 1-3 years of professional experience in engineering support or configuration management.
- Understanding of engineering documentation and configuration control principles.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technical environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Active TS/SCI w/Poly.
