Senior Salesforce Developer
Remote
Blu Omega is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to support mission-critical federal programs. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting secure, scalable Salesforce solutions within a federal health IT environment. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, building and enhancing Salesforce applications, integrations, data models, automation, and user experiences.

Responsibilities
- Design, configure, develop, test, and maintain Salesforce solutions aligned with business and mission requirements.
- Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable Salesforce architecture, objects, data models, automation, and user experiences.
- Develop and maintain Apex classes and triggers, Lightning components, Salesforce Flow automation, SOQL queries, reports, and dashboards.
- Support integrations between Salesforce and external applications, APIs, and enterprise services.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce security, including profiles, permission sets, roles, and sharing models.
- Apply Salesforce development, governance, data quality, testing, release management, and deployment best practices.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, automation, and data issues across Salesforce environments.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, defect resolution, deployments, and production support activities.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver application enhancements.
- Identify technical risks and recommend improvements to scalability, security, and performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Support Agile delivery activities and perform high-quality releases throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce platform experience in development, architecture, or administration.
- Strong Salesforce development experience with Apex, SOQL, Lightning, Flow, or comparable platform capabilities.
- Experience designing and maintaining Salesforce objects, data models, automation, and security.
- Experience supporting Salesforce integrations with external applications and APIs.
- Understanding of Salesforce governance, data quality, testing, deployment, and release practices.
- Troubleshooting experience for complex Salesforce applications and data issues.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, technical documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government credentials, including a PIV where applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or federal health IT programs.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, GitHub, Salesforce DX, Microsoft 365, or related Agile tools.
- Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer, or Application Architect.
Compensation
Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00
Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
