Position Overview
Ennoble First is seeking a Mid-Level UI/UX Developer to support an Intelligence Community customer in Gaithersburg, Maryland. This position will design and develop intuitive, user-centered interfaces for mission-critical applications supporting modern software solutions across the customer's enterprise.
This role bridges design and engineering, focusing on creating seamless user experiences while delivering production-ready front-end solutions. The UI/UX Developer will work closely with backend engineers, product owners, stakeholders, and end users to translate complex technical workflows into clean, efficient, accessible interfaces and continuously improve application usability and performance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces for web-based applications.
- Translate complex workflows into simple, efficient user experiences that improve usability and adoption.
- Build and maintain front-end components using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar technologies.
- Ensure applications meet usability standards and accessibility best practices.
- Contribute to and maintain consistent design patterns, components, and style guides.
- Gather and incorporate user feedback to continuously improve interface design and functionality.
- Work closely with backend engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to align UI/UX with system capabilities.
- Improve front-end performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience with front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with modern UI frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar technologies.
- Demonstrated experience designing user-centered interfaces for complex applications.
- Understanding of UX principles, usability, and interaction design.
- Experience working in Linux-based environments.
- Ability to translate user needs into functional design solutions.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Grafana or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and backend integration.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and front-end deployment workflows.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Experience designing and developing intuitive user interfaces for data-driven GEOINT applications.
$110,000-$130,000
The Ennoble First pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
