Standard Job Description
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Coordinate and execute tasks to support the operations of a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV). The successful candidate will be involved in mission support of an ROV system including, managing ROV hardware (electrical and mechanical) and associated computer systems. Support compliance with government regulations for the protection of classified information. Work location for this position will be in Washington State.
Develops training material, tests, and visual aids. Conducts training classes and evaluates effectiveness of training activities. Maintains and upgrades courses to reflect system configuration and latest technologies. Identifies development needs in trainees, including preparing personnel for positions of increased responsibility. Evaluate and/or oversee other instructors to develop and/or provide training material for co-contractors or suppliers. Assists in overseeing, executing, and managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects.
Support security administrator for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material. Support all contractual security requirements for Sensitive Compartmented Information or DOD collateral classified programs.
Develop skills needed for an ability to operate and maintain equipment associated with the ROV. Perform a variety of maintenance and technical support of logistic products at local and field locations. Develop products including: inventories, reports, assisting with procedural updates, technical writing. Maintain effective customer communication and relations, and any additional support to the West Coast Manager.
Able to comply with documentation related to the operation of Lockheed Martin and supplier developed systems, analyze system capabilities, and provide feedback. Possess the ability to characterize and troubleshoot issues identified by end-users.
Establishes milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications and feed applicable data to management.

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
