Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Staff Officer SME (Influence, Deception, and Perception Management activities) to support Office of the Under Secretary of War in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies, plans, and initiatives that support influence, deception, and perception management operations, activities, and investments across the Department of Warfare (DoW).
- Assist senior leadership with oversight and governance activities by conducting staff assistance visits, compliance assessments, and operational reviews related to influence, deception, and perception management programs.
- Prepare, coordinate, and staff time-sensitive action packages, executive correspondence, and decision support materials that enable the execution of influence, deception, and perception management operations and initiatives.
- Produce and deliver executive-level reports, briefings, and strategic communications for Congressional stakeholders and senior Executive Branch officials on influence, deception, and perception management activities and investments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the DoW and Intelligence Community to align and integrate influence, deception, and perception management strategies with broader organizational objectives, priorities, and mission requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and 10+ years of policy development, policy analysis, operational planning work within the Department of War/DoD.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
- Experience supporting intelligence, national security, defense, counterintelligence, or sensitive activity missions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, assess risks, and develop actionable recommendations
- Experience drafting policy in support of DoW special operations
- Experience preparing executive-level briefings, talking points, and decision-support materials for senior leadership
- Ability to coordinate across multiple organizations and stakeholders in complex mission environments
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience participating in interagency working groups or cross-functional teams preferred
Compensation:
- Total compensation based on experience level - $130,000-$150,000+
