Description

We are seeking a mid-level Project Manager to support the planning and execution of large-scale customer technology migrations, with a primary focus on network infrastructure and endpoint migrations . This role will coordinate cross-functional teams, customers, vendors, and technical stakeholders to ensure migrations are delivered safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to business operations.   The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive project leader who can manage multiple concurrent migration workstreams, drive accountability across technical teams, communicate effectively with customers and executives, and identify and resolve risks before they impact delivery.  

Key Responsibilities  

  • Lead end-to-end project planning and execution for large-scale customer network and endpoint migration initiatives .  


  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, and cutover plans.  


  • Coordinate migration activities across network engineering, endpoint engineering, security, infrastructure, service delivery, operations, vendors, and customer teams.  


  • Manage multiple concurrent migration projects and prioritize activities based on customer impact, technical dependencies, and business timelines.  


  • Facilitate project kickoffs, status meetings, technical working sessions, migration readiness reviews, and executive updates.  


  • Establish clear ownership, deadlines, and escalation paths across internal and external stakeholders.  


  • Track project scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, and resource requirements through completion.  


  • Coordinate migration waves, pilot deployments, production cutovers, validation activities, and post-migration stabilization.  


  • Partner with technical teams to ensure migration prerequisites, testing, documentation, rollback plans, and operational readiness are completed before cutover.  


  • Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.  


  • Manage customer communications and provide clear, concise status reporting on progress, risks, decisions, and next steps.  


  • Support change management and ensure project activities align with established change-control and operational processes.  


  • Drive post-migration lessons learned and incorporate improvements into subsequent migration waves.  


  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure appropriate handoffs to operational support teams.  


Required Qualifications  
  • Requires a BA degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance 


  • 3–6 years of project or program management experience , preferably supporting technology infrastructure or IT transformation initiatives.  


  • Experience managing large-scale infrastructure, network, endpoint, cloud, data center, or technology migration projects .  


  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects involving multiple technical teams and stakeholders.  


  • Strong understanding of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, dependencies, risk management, change control, and stakeholder management.  


  • Experience working directly with customers or business stakeholders in a delivery environment.  


  • Strong communication , organization, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.  


  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.  


  • Comfortable working with technical teams and translating technical project information into clear business-level communications.  


  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Confluence, or similar platforms.  


Preferred Qualifications  

  • PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification.  


  • Experience with network migrations, LAN/WAN transformations, SD-WAN, network modernization, endpoint refreshes, device migrations, or enterprise infrastructure consolidation .  


  • Experience managing large customer migration programs involving multiple sites, business units, or geographic regions.  


  • Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.  


  • Experience coordinating third-party vendors, managed service providers, or technology partners.  


  • Experience with migration planning, cutover management, rollback planning, and hypercare /stabilization.  


  • Technical background or sufficient technical fluency to effectively partner with network, endpoint, infrastructure, and security engineering teams.

Pay Range: Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
