Job Title: Cisco CCNA Instructor (1099 Contractor)
Compensation: $100.00 – $140.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience and certifications)
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Contingent on Contract Award
Location: Hybrid (On-Site for labs)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, highly engaging Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Instructor to deliver premium, high-impact technical training. As a 1099 Contractor, you will be responsible for preparing professionals and students to pass their Cisco certification exams while mastering real-world networking skills.
The ideal candidate possesses deep enterprise networking expertise, an active CCNA certification (or higher), and a proven track record of delivering dynamic technical instruction to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver Technical Instruction: Lead comprehensive lectures covering routing and switching, IPv4/IPv6 subnetting, network security fundamentals, automation, and programmability based on the latest Cisco exam blueprints.
• Facilitate Hands-On Labs: Guide students through practical, real-world troubleshooting scenarios using physical Cisco hardware, Cisco Packet Tracer, or Eve-NG/GNS3.
• Provide Mentorship & Support: Offer constructive feedback on lab exercises, answer complex technical questions, and share industry best practices.
• Evaluate Performance: Monitor student progress, identify comprehension gaps, and provide targeted coaching to maximize official certification pass rates.

Required Qualifications
• Active Cisco Certification: Must hold a current CCNA (200-301) certification. Higher-level certifications (CCNP, CCIE) or a Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI) designation are highly preferred.
• Active Clearance: Must hold a secret clearance minimum.
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience working in enterprise networking, network engineering, or systems administration.
• Instructional Experience: Proven track record of teaching technical IT curricula in a corporate, bootcamp, or academic environment.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to break down highly complex networking concepts for beginners.
• Contractor Readiness: Must operate as a verified 1099 independent contractor with your own reliable high-speed internet setup and teaching equipment (if remote).
