Are You a Demand Forecast Specialist Ready to Turn Financial Data into Actionable Business Forecasts?
QSSHire is seeking a Demand Forecast Specialist to support pricing, financial analysis, and demand forecasting functions within a business office environment. This role will analyze historical financial and demand data, evaluate pricing and economic trends, and develop reliable forecasts to support business and financial decision-making.
You’ll leverage advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities to analyze and normalize historical data, evaluate past Working Capital Fund (WCF) product and service demand, identify changes in demand, and translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations.

In This Role, You’ll:
• Collect, analyze, and normalize historical financial and demand data.
• Review historical WCF product and service demand to identify trends and forecasting patterns.
• Develop and maintain complex financial and demand forecasting models using advanced Excel.
• Conduct pricing and financial analyses to support business planning and decision-making.
• Research demand shifts, economic indicators, and other factors that may affect future demand.
• Adjust forecasts and assumptions based on emerging trends and changing business conditions.
• Analyze financial and operational information and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Support pricing activities and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements and priorities.
• Serve as a liaison across business, financial, and stakeholder groups.
• Support Working Capital Fund financial planning and demand forecasting activities.

You’ll Succeed Here If You Have:
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph required.
• Proven consulting experience with strong client relationship management.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including experience building complex financial models.
• Strong financial management background and skillset.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and normalizing historical data.
• Experience analyzing historical product or service demand.
• Demonstrated pricing expertise.
• Experience researching demand shifts and economic indicators and incorporating findings into forecasts.
• Strong business acumen and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and liaison capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively with clients and multiple stakeholder groups.
• Ability to work onsite in Chantilly, VA.
• Availability to support an annualized 1,860-hour commitment.

• Experience with other federal Working Capital Funds.
• Familiarity with relevant agency systems, processes, and personnel.
• Experience supporting federal financial management, pricing, forecasting, or business operations.
• Strong understanding of the relationship between pricing, demand, financial performance, and business planning.

Degree Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent combined with relevant professional experience in financial management, pricing, demand forecasting, financial analysis, or a related area may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
