Standard Job Description
Performs the Make, Buy and / or Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. Performs one or more multiple manufacturing activities within various manufacturing functions. Maintains production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization to minimize cost. Expedites and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Coordinates with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control on make parts, analyzes and controls production schedule and capacity requirements, executes the plan, provides timely status and expedites or works around plans to preserve schedule. Coordinates with Supply Chain Stakeholders including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements. Maintains MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes and coordinates with Engineering and Change Board Rep to make the associated changes to the BOM.
Duties Will Include:
• Lead MRP for at least one full AC modification at a time
• Responsible for an aircraft Production Support Area
• Interface with Master Scheduling, Production Operations and Production Engineering to ensure production and schedule needs are met
• Create, issue and TCHO production orders
• Facilitate redlines to productions orders
• Request installation drawings through CMDC
• Complete IPO's and issue kits with production orders in accordance to schedule and/or production need
• Inventory control of kits
• Communicate with PP&C leadership concerning kitting needs/discrepancies
• Maintain bench stock and HAZMAT for assigned aircraft to include issuing, reorders, and inventory management to min/max levels
• HAZMAT and Production Support Area consumption audits
• Aircraft closeout activities
• Generate 1149s as needed
• Follow the borrow/payback process for kits as needed
• Make decisions in regards to the most efficient avenue to obtain materials needed
• Respond to NCD's and work to resolve production material issues
• Checks work of level I and II MRP for accuracy as needed
• Assists in MRP training
Basic Qualifications
• MRP or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• ERP system experience, preferably SAP
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Proven advanced problem solving skills
Desired Skills
• SAP super user
• Leadership experience
• Experience in a schedule driven production environment
• Thorough knowledge of processes and procedures in accordance with Command Media
• Complete knowledge of MRP systems, processes and procedures
• Complete knowledge of applicable SAP reports (ability to conduct thorough research in all aspects of MRP requirements)
• Experience on the SOF GLSS contract
• Experience in a production environment, preferably within DoD aviation

Full-Time Salary Range: $65200.00 - $121200.00
