IAW Public Law 112-81 and DoD Policy the incumbent shall comply with the requirements of DoD FM Certification program within the allotted time frame. As a BUDGET ANALYST at the GS-0560-12 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Formulates and develops assigned portion of the USTRANSCOM appropriated budgets and Air Force Execution Plan.
- Financial management oversight and execution of Appropriated Budgets, Air Force. Execution plan, and appropriations from other Department of Defense (DoD) organizations.
- Provides financial advisory services to the USTRANSCOM Headquarters and JECC senior managers, Resource Advisors (RAs) and staff.
- Develops programming/budget policies, procedures, and interpretations of legislation for use by the organization's journeyman budget analysts, resource advisors, and staff.
- Prepares and/or assembles information in support of formal presentations of budget requests and reviews before OMB and/or Congressional Committees.
- Analyzes and inputs large quantities of data in systems or spreadsheets.

- Analyzing and inputting large amounts of quantitative data to ensure accuracy and consistency of budgets.
- Presenting, developing, justifying and executing budgets and financial plans to properly fund and meet resource requirements.
- Monitoring the validity of budget assumptions to actual operations and developing recommendations for changes.
