Job Description

Position Description:
Join a fast-paced Electrical Engineering team supporting production operations and ensuring hardware builds remain on schedule. This role focuses on troubleshooting complex hardware issues, driving corrective actions, and collaborating across multiple functional teams to resolve production challenges.

Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Assess and troubleshoot production hardware issues, determine root causes, and develop corrective action plans.
- Prioritize issues based on urgency and production impact.
- Lead problem resolution efforts from identification through final closure.
- Communicate technical plans, status updates, and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and present engineering change documentation and change packages.
Own and manage assigned projects to successful completion.

Day-to-Day Activities
- Resolve production and supplier-related issues, including troubleshooting and coordinating corrective actions.
- Diagnose hardware failures using electronic test equipment and engineering analysis tools.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, drawings, and change packages.
- Analyze defect and yield data to identify trends and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with suppliers, create Statements of Work (SOWs), and support production engineering activities.
- Support ongoing electrical engineering efforts in manufacturing and production environments.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent.
- 5-10 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience testing and/or debugging: Digital systems, Analog system, RF systems, Mixed-signal circuit card assemblies, Electro-mechanical systems
- Proficiency with laboratory equipment, including: Oscilloscopes, Logic analyzers, Function generators, Power supplies
- Ability to read and interpret: Electrical schematics, PCB layouts, Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting production engineering activities involving electrical or mechanical hardware.
- Background in electronic or electro-optical subsystem design, including circuit design, assembly processes, and fabrication practices.
- Familiarity with electrical design, simulation, analysis, and measurement tools.
- Experience with subsystem integration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work independently or within small teams while providing technical leadership, coordination, and project oversight.
