Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer Vehicle Patrol - Clearance Eligible in Palmdale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, assist with badge-related activities, and help deter security-related incidents while providing professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorization for entry, deliveries, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrol activity, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least five years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
