Job Description:

Cydecor is seeking an experienced forward-thinking leader to be a Program Manager for the Navy Readiness Reporting Enterprise (NRRE) contract. This position is responsible for the execution of the complete enterprise contract project consisting of multiple software applications and project teams with 70+ employees.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the project team Project Leaders (PL) to develop and track detailed project plans and schedules across the entire enterprise to ensure integrated project management objectives are met from a coordinated portfolio perspective.
  • Identify obstacles and risks, implement risk mitigation strategies, ensure clear communication of risks to project stakeholders and management and create, monitor and report project milestones and performance metrics to senior management and Government customers.
  • Manage a team of enterprise level employees who assist the projects in the execution of the software development life cycle.
  • Coordinate with an enterprise project manager in resolving conflict and responding to emergent customer priorities and issues.
  • This position will work directly with the Government Project Management Office, Enterprise Project Manager, and Project Leads on the following accountability items:
    • Clear understanding of customer's business environment, problems, and requirements to ensure solutions meet enterprise needs in an iterative and agile manner.
    • Accountability for Maximum Project CPAR scores.
    • Business Acumen items such as execution of budget, project team balance (level and compensation), and monthly status reports.
    • Regular in-person updates and collaboration with the Government Program Manager or Project Officer.
    • Face-to-Face review of the Monthly Status Report (MSR) covering progress the pillars of CPAR including Schedule, Quality, Cost Control, & Management.
    • Accountability for full project compliance with CMMI-Dev L3
Here's what you need:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of program management or related experience
  • Proven experience managing large, complex U.S. Navy software development programs of significant scale and scope, with responsibility for multiple applications, cross-functional teams, integrated schedules, and competing customer priorities across an enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of US Navy Readiness systems and reporting
  • Strong interpersonal skills in or to develop rapport with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Accomplished leader both of direct reports and matrix style cross-functional teams
  • Pro-active thinking and attitude; self starter
  • Willingness and ability to mentor and coach others
  • Experience with strategic planning and requirements development
  • Experience with software development and agile principles
  • Active Secret security clearance (must be able to expeditiously obtain)
  • Strong project management skills
Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Agile PMP qualification, PMP, Agile Training, ITIL, ISO 9001 experience is desired.
  • Ability to understand and advise customers regarding US Navy readiness community of interest.

  • DOD Secret

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of program management or related experience
Work Schedule:

Compensation and Benefits:
The projected compensation range for this position is $165,000-190,000. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
