Job Description

Precise Systems is seeking a Human Resources Specialist, to support our corporate team in Lexington Park, Maryland.

The Human Resources Specialist will support assigned business areas while learning Precise Systems' HR practices, policies, programs, and operations. Working under the guidance of experienced HR team members, this position will assist managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle and help deliver timely, consistent workforce support.

The ideal candidate will be organized, responsive, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information professionally. This position will collaborate with Human Resources, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Security, and other corporate teams.

Duties and Responsibilities: Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Support HR services for assigned business areas, managers, and employees.
  • Learn each business area's contracts, customers, workforce, and staffing needs.
  • Assist with onboarding, employee integration, engagement, retention, and offboarding.
  • Support employee relations, attendance, performance management, and workplace matters under guidance.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate employee records, reports, and case documentation in ADP and other HR systems.
  • Assist with performance reviews, compensation processes, employee development, and workforce changes.
  • Help ensure actions and documentation follow company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable laws.
  • Respond professionally to employees, applicants, visitors, and business partners.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
  • Participate in business-area meetings and support initiatives and special projects.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Required Experience: Three (3)- Five (5) years equivalent relevant work experience.

Desired Skills:
  • Candidates must possess the ability to use Microsoft Office for various administrative duties.
  • Must be extremely professional.
  • Should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ideal candidates will possess at least one year of business office experience.

This position requires in person support.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $25.00-$32.70 per hour (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
