- Provides instruction and operational services to plan, coordinate, and develop training products, materials, packages, scenario development, testing, and simulation role players
- Develop and update training materials in collaboration with training specialists and subject matter experts, ensuring content aligns with current doctrine, technology, and operational needs
- Shall ensure database enemy SAF entities, supporting SAF entities, and routes have been loaded for the selected training scenario
- CBTI duties include operators for CCTT AAR Suites, Master Control Console (MCC), SAF workstations, Instructor Operator Station (IOS) workstations
- CBTI's provide training exercise support, including assisting exercise planning and scenario development (e.g., developing new, modifying existing, and testing exercise scenarios), including Special Operations Forces (SOF); providing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs); and replicating higher headquarters
- To facilitate training exercise support, the CBTI shall provide SAF support operations
- Courses are offered through Computer Based Training Instruction (CBTI), Field or Classroom environments
- Provide over‑the‑shoulder support and subject matter expertise during exercises, drills, and multinational training events
- Assist Monitoring and evaluating student progress, using assessment tools and performance metrics to ensure training effectiveness
- Operate and integrate simulation tools for realistic training scenarios (AAR Suites, Master Control Console (MCC), SAF workstations, Instructor Operator Station (IOS) workstations
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Technical proficiency in CBT platforms and simulation systems
- Instructional expertise in adult learning, curriculum design, and performance‑based training
- Subject matter knowledge in defense operations, systems, or applicable technical domains
- Ability to adapt training to varying learner needs and operational requirements
- Clear communication and mentorship skills to guide trainees and foster discipline and teamwork
Work Environment:
- May involve on‑site training in classrooms in simulation facilities
- Occasional travel for training events or exercises
- Requires adherence to military regulations, safety protocols, and data security standards
Education:
- (2 +BA/BS or 1+MA/MS) or (4 +AA) or (6+No Degree)
