KBR is seeking a full time onsite Boulder Ground Innovation Facility Special Security Representative (BGIF SSR) responsible for total security oversight across SCIF, and closed-area facilities supporting Space Force programs. The role spans SCI management, physical/TEMPEST compliance, personnel clearance verification, incident response, liaison duties and other relevant tasking as directed by the Government customer.
Multi-Discipline Security Oversight: Administer and manage all facets of Personnel Security, Industrial Security, Physical Security, Information Security, Emissions Security (EMSEC/TEMPEST), and Automated Information Systems Security across SCIFs, Closed Areas, and unclassified mission spaces.
Accreditation & Facility Compliance: Direct Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs), Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs), preconstruction activities, and TEMPEST checklists to secure ICD compliance and SCIF accreditations utilizing NISPOM, ICD 503, ICD 705, and DoD 5205.07 (M-1) guidance.
Policy & Operations Documentation: Author, maintain, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) for secure areas; continuously assess security processes to identify shortfalls and provide recommendations to enhance security posture.
Access Control & Physical Security: Manage and operate SCIF alarm systems, CCTV panels, locks/combinations, badges, entry control systems, daily Protected Distribution System (PDS) checks, safe/door combination updates, and unescorted/escorted access procedures.
Clearance & Access Management: Utilize DISS, Scattered Castles, and SCINET to verify clearances, track billet justifications, create and process incoming/outgoing Visit Authorization Requests (VARs), and conduct SCI Indoctrinations and debriefings.
Information & Media Control: Develop, virus-scan, and log classified hardware/media for 100% accountability; oversee classified document handling, shipping, and courier operations; serve as COMSEC Alternate.
Audits & Self-Inspections: Conduct internal security audits and self-inspections for SCI security programs; track, report, and close out all corrective action items.
Training & Guard Force Instruction: Develop and present security briefings, initial/annual refresher courses, and Operations Security (OPSEC) guidance; train local guard forces on specific SCIF and Closed Area entry/response procedures.
Threat Mitigation & Incident Response: Serve as the local liaison to the Insider Threat Program, Crisis Action Team, Space Force Security Forces, AFOSI, FBI, and first responders; coordinate inquiries, damage assessments, and reporting for security violations or classified spillages; process PED waivers.
Executive Communication: Brief all levels of personnel-including senior military officers, government leadership, and executive civilian leadership-on security policy, vulnerabilities, and threat risks.

Requirements:
- Security Clearance: Active Top Secret with current Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility (and willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph if required).
- Experience: 3-5+ years of direct experience administering security programs in SCIF, SAP, or secure military environments.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrated proficiency with ICD 705, ICD 503, NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), DoD 5205.07 series, and TEMPEST/EMSEC guidelines.
- Systems & Tools: Hands-on operational experience with DISS, Scattered Castles, SCINET, and integrated access control/intrusion detection systems (IDS/CCTV).
- Education / Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent operational experience). Possession of DoD Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) or Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) preferred.
Desired Requirements:
- Certifications: Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) certifications, such as Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC), Special Program Security Certification (SPSC), or Physical Security Certification (PSC).
- Space Force / Mission Experience: Direct familiarity with United States Space Force (USSF) or Space Systems Command (SSC) security architectures and Program Protection Plans (PPPs).
- Technical: Security Skills Prior training or formal certification in TEMPEST/EMSEC fundamentals.

- The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
