Communications Specialist

Communications Specialist / Senior Telecommunications Equipment Installer & Repairer

Support mission-critical executive communications systems used to maintain secure and reliable connectivity for senior military leadership and continuity of operations missions.

Responsibilities:
- Provide on-call and onsite support for communications systems, services, and networks
- Monitor network connectivity and troubleshoot outages or performance issues
- Install, remove, configure, and maintain communications equipment on vehicles and airborne assets
- Support deployable and mobile communications systems
- Configure laptops, load sets, and user profiles for mobile communication kits
- Maintain inventory and accountability of communications equipment
- Assist with lifecycle replacement planning for communications hardware and software
- Support continuity of operations (COOP) communications requirements

Required Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret clearance
- SCI eligibility
- Experience supporting telecommunications, communications systems, or network environments
- Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification within 30 days of hire
- U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification
- Executive communications experience
- Deployable communications systems experience
- Mobile network communications experience
- Military communications background
- COOP support experience

Additional Information
- Clearance: Active TS with SCI Eligibility required
- Pay: $74,800 - $93,600 annually ($36 - $45/hr)
- Contract End Date: February 4, 2027
- Start Date: ASAP
