- Providing direction/leadership to others as a lead or technical specialist for the software development of Radio Frequency (RF) emitter products and solutions
- Developing software using modern C++ for development of Radio Frequency (RF) emitter products and solutions
- Working closely with the customer to understand requirements and CONOPS in order to design and produce a system that meets customer expectations
- Coordinating and leading reviews and demonstrations to customers and high-level management
- Reviewing and ensuring developed software meets desired quality standards and behaves as intended
- Overseeing and assisting in system integration efforts in a lab environment and in the field
- Providing functional and technical guidance to other engineers

Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or other Engineering degree and eighteen years of work related experience
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, problem-solving, and short-term and long-term planning skills
- Ability to apply complex, technical professional disciplines requiring a four-year degree or equivalent and the extensive, applied use of related concepts, practices and methods
- Strong background and experience in Software Engineering activities to include research, design, development, debugging, integration, testing, and deployment
- Experience developing Modular Open System Approach (MOSA) compliant architecture and designs
- At least 8 years of modern C++ (C++11 or newer) development
- Experience developing systems that require hardware, software, and firmware to work together in an integrated system
- Must possess a minimum of a Secret clearance
Desired Skills
- Experience leading a software development team
- Experience applying DevSecOps principles, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Experience with user interface (UI) design and developing workflows that provide a good user experience (UX)
- Experience with small-scale distributed systems with latency restrictions
- Experience within the Atlassian suite and GitLab
- Working knowledge of Cyber Security principles, STIG processes and working through Risk Management Framework(s)
- Experience with range interfaces such as LMOC, TBCF, XLCC, etc.
- Experience in network architecture and implementations
