Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Ft. Meade, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, with a focus on secure systems design and implementation. This role requires a deep understanding of system architecture, network security, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement secure systems solutions to meet customer requirements
• Conduct system analysis and perform requirements gathering
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and interoperability
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
• Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering
• Experience with secure systems design and implementation
• Strong knowledge of network security protocols and technologies
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools

Clearance Requirements:
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
