Position Responsibilities
Administer and sustain UNIX and Red Hat Linux server environments.
• Support HP-UX, Solaris, and/or Red Hat Linux-based applications.
• Troubleshoot operating-system and application issues in enterprise environments.
• Support systems integrated with U.S. military C2 or comparable LAN/WAN networks
Required Qualifications
Required Education / Experience Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Science, Business Administration, or Mathematics plus three (3) years of specialized experience; or an Associate's degree plus seven (7) years of specialized experience; or a major certification plus seven (7) years of specialized experience; or eleven (11) years of specialized experience.
Required Specialized Certification UNIX Certified Administrator; RHCE; RHCSA; or RHCA.
Required Specialized Experience Four (4) years of experience using and maintaining UNIX or Red Hat server-based operating systems; two (2) years of experience with HP-UX, Solaris, or Red Hat Linux-based applications; and two (2) years of direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems. Experience may be concurrent
