Job Description

Monday.com Workflow Coordinator | Part-Time
About Blue Rose Consulting Group

At Blue Rose Consulting Group, our mission is simple: People First. Mission Always.

As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and SBA-Certified HUBZone company, we deliver innovative solutions and exceptional talent to federal agencies nationwide. We specialize in healthcare, behavioral health, technology, cybersecurity, program management, and professional services, helping our clients solve complex challenges while making a meaningful impact.

About the Role

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a tech-savvy and highly organized Monday.com Workflow Coordinator to help us build, improve, and maintain our Monday.com environment.

This is a part-time, junior-to-mid-level role for someone who already has hands-on experience with Monday.com and enjoys figuring out better ways to organize information, automate repetitive tasks, and create workflows that are easy for teams to use.

You do not need to be a senior developer or enterprise systems consultant. We are looking for someone who understands what Monday.com can do, is comfortable building within the platform, and can help us continually improve how we use it across our organization.

Schedule: Part-Time, approximately 10-15 hours per week
Location: Remote
Compensation: $15-$20 per hour, based on experience

What You'll Do
  • Build and maintain Monday.com boards, workspaces, forms, dashboards, and templates.
  • Review existing boards and help clean up, organize, and improve how they are structured.
  • Create and maintain basic to intermediate Monday.com automations.
  • Connect related boards and information to reduce duplicate data entry.
  • Build dashboards and reporting views that make important information easy to find and understand.
  • Help standardize statuses, columns, naming conventions, templates, and board structures.
  • Work with team members to understand how they currently manage a process and help translate that process into Monday.com.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and reduce repetitive manual steps.
  • Troubleshoot basic platform, workflow, automation, and configuration issues.
  • Maintain existing workflows as processes and requirements change.
  • Create simple documentation and instructions so team members understand how to use new boards and workflows.
  • Research Monday.com features and recommend tools or improvements that could benefit our teams.
  • Assist with other Monday.com projects and platform improvements as needed.
What We're Looking For
  • Hands-on experience using Monday.com, including creating and managing boards.
  • Familiarity with Monday.com automations, dashboards, forms, templates, and connected boards.
  • Comfortable learning new platform features and experimenting with different ways to solve workflow challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to take a process or set of requirements and translate it into an organized workflow.
  • Good problem-solving skills and willingness to troubleshoot issues independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote, part-time environment.
Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting Monday.com for a team, department, small business, or organization.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, or Microsoft Lists.
  • Familiarity with recruiting, HR, operations, project management, or business development workflows.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, process documentation, or SOPs.
  • Familiarity with integrations or automation tools such as Zapier or Make.
  • Monday.com training or certifications are a plus but are not required.
Who Would Be a Good Fit?

This role could be a great fit for a college student, recent graduate, early-career professional, operations or project coordinator, or someone looking for flexible part-time work who already has practical Monday.com experience.

We are less concerned with the number of years you've worked with Monday.com and more interested in what you can actually build with it.

If you've created boards, automated repetitive steps, built dashboards, connected workflows, or found a better way for your team to use Monday.com, we'd like to hear about it.

Individuals who reside in a HUBZone are strongly encouraged to apply.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means our Monday.com environment becomes more organized, easier to use, and more valuable to our teams.

Over time, you will help us:

  • Reduce unnecessary manual updates and duplicate data entry.
  • Create more consistent workflows across teams.
  • Improve visibility into projects, recruiting, operations, and other business activities.
  • Keep existing boards and workflows organized and functioning properly.
  • Make Monday.com easier for employees to use without overcomplicating the platform.
Why This Role?

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with a platform that supports multiple areas of a growing federal government contractor. You'll have the opportunity to build real workflows, solve real business problems, and see your work put into use across the organization.
