Joint Exercise and Training Manager - TS/SCI

Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work alongside clients every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage of their journey-before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions.

Work You'll Do

As a Project - Manager, Strategy, Growth and Transformation on the project, you will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day executive actions, tracking suspense items, and driving timely completion of priority taskings in support of the Joint Exercises and Training directorate
• Developing and coordinating executive briefings, decision memoranda, information papers, and other senior leader communications to support engagements and decision-making
• Maintaining integrated tracking of taskers, action items, risks, dependencies, and deliverables, and providing leadership with regular status updates and decision support
• Coordinating across staff and other stakeholders to align inputs, synchronize efforts, and resolve cross-functional issues
• Supporting executive meetings, working groups, leadership forums, and special projects by preparing materials, capturing decisions and assigned actions, and producing follow-up summaries and executive readouts

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
• 5 + years of experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or military clients in a project management, executive action, front office, or headquarters staff environment
• 5+ years of experience preparing executive briefings, decision memoranda, information papers, and correspondence for senior leaders
• Ability to work onsite 5 days/week in Washington, D.C.
• Ability to travel 0-30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

• Experience supporting Joint exercises, training, readiness, or defense operations portfolios
• Experience developing dashboards, status reports, or executive readouts for leadership review
• Experience supporting onsite client delivery in a headquarters or secure environment
• Experience managing senior leader engagements, follow-up actions, and meeting outcomes
• Experience coordinating cross-functional efforts across multiple organizations

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $131,000 to $218,300.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
