Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary: • Modernize an existing data tracking and metrics system utilizing user-centered UI/UX design methodologies. • Develop comprehensive user interface specifications, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to validate design concepts. • Perform usability and 508 compliance testing across modern software applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Linux. Qualifications & Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 20+ years • Total Compensation: $346k+ yearly (tentative) Job Description: • Focus on developing highly usable end-user interfaces by applying UI best practices and core UX principles. • Collaborate closely with users and analysts to research, develop, and document user profiles and performance requirements. • Conduct task analysis, workflow mapping, and user scenario testing to drive application design. • Develop UI design specifications, wireframes, mockups, interaction behaviors, and design guidelines. • Collaborate with product designers and process engineers to ensure user-centered solutions align with workflows and technical requirements. • Perform accessibility and 508 compliance testing to ensure interfaces adhere to regulatory and usability standards. • Gather and evaluate user feedback through surveys and behavioral metrics to inform design enhancements. • Create interactive prototypes to effectively communicate interactions to development teams and stakeholders. • Leverage working knowledge of Linux, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and Adobe Suite to support frontend design and troubleshoot technical issues.
