The Sea, Land, Air Analysis Group's mission is to deliver objective analyses, plans and strategies to US Navy, US Marine Corps, US Air Force, other DoD, and Australian Defence Force clients to support technology development, acquisition, delivery and sustainment decisions. The group provides the core of SPA thought leadership on Undersea Strategy, Software Development and Cost Estimating, with additional benchmark capabilities in AI/ML & Decision Analytics, Modeling and Simulation, and Future Force Assessments.

SPA has an immediate need for a Program Management/Acquisition Analyst

Responsibilities

In this role, the individual applies expert knowledge of federal acquisition processes to develop, review, and manage program-level acquisition packages while maintaining quality assurance standards, creating templates, tracking package status, and reporting progress to leadership. The position involves guiding Government teams on Strategic Management Tool and Requirements Approval Document processes, conducting market research, supporting acquisition strategy development, and analyzing new or revised policies to advise stakeholders. The individual works closely with Mission Partners to gather, define, and document technical requirements to ensure packages meet Government specifications and timelines, provides acquisition process training, maintains accurate procurement metrics and data, supports CONUS/OCONUS travel, prepares required trip reports and documentation, and responds to Government communications within established timelines.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 5-15 years DoD and federal acquisition policies
  • Skilled in military program management support, requirements development, and market research
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with Government stakeholders and Mission Partners
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate program metrics and tracking systems
  • Active SECRET clearance with the ability to maintain throughout employment
