Standard Job Description

You will be a Project Engineer in the F-35 Line of Business Engineering (LOBe) team within Engineering and Technology (E&T) supporting the Development Team.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Project Engineer - you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a thorough and detailed understanding of the technical scope, cost, and schedule, collaborating with the Program Management (PM) office, and driving the Domain Excellence (DEx) team performance. You will collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders to protect program spend and drive value-focused outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Understanding and communicating how the technical scope of the contract aligns with the overall program objectives and strategy
• Effectively communicating technical issues to various levels of management while coordinating resolution in parallel through development of closure plans
• Identifying cross-contract gaps and providing recommendation of resolution
• Identifying risks and opportunities and drive the closure plans through technical leadership
• CAM (Control Account Management) of team's scope.
• Performing EV analysis at the contract level and understand impacts to overall engineering
• Coordinate with Data Management and technical teams to manage and track CDRL (Contract Deliverable Requirements List) deliveries

Basic Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or alternate STEM major with technical experience
• Project Engineering / Project Management / Technical experience
• EVMS (Earned Value Management System) and/ or CAM (Control Account Management) experience

Desired Skills

• Experience in F-35 Air Systems development lifecycles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00
