Job Overview:
The Logistics Analyst supports daily logistics, warehouse, inventory, fleet, and supply chain operations for Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) sustainment activities. This position is responsible for processing logistics transactions, maintaining accurate inventory and fleet records, supporting warehouse operations, and preparing reports that contribute to operational readiness. The Logistics Analyst works under the guidance of the Senior Logistics Analyst while collaborating with maintenance, procurement, transportation, and warehouse personnel across geographically dispersed locations.

Responsibilities
Logistics Operations & Transaction Support
- Process daily logistics transactions including receipts, transfers, issues, turn-ins, shipments, and inventory adjustments
- Verify logistics documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Support material movement activities between regional sites, warehouses, and repair depots
- Monitor open logistics transactions and report discrepancies or delays
- Assist with logistics reporting by maintaining accurate operational data
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Support warehouse inventory control activities including cycle counts, inventory validations, and reconciliations
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations including material staging, packaging, documentation, and shipment tracking
- Maintain inventory accuracy within warehouse and logistics management systems
- Assist with stock replenishment activities and monitor inventory levels
- Support warehouse organization and material accountability
Fleet Management Support
- Maintain fleet records including vehicle registrations, inspections, maintenance schedules, and utilization documentation
- Assist with GSA fleet coordination including vehicle reservations, lease tracking, and utilization reporting
- Coordinate with field personnel regarding vehicle availability and scheduled maintenance requirements
- Maintain fleet documentation and operational records
Systems, Reporting & Data Management
- Enter and maintain logistics transactions within IBM Maximo/MAS 8, SAP, or other approved logistics systems
- Prepare recurring logistics reports, spreadsheets, and operational summaries
- Validate logistics data for completeness and accuracy
- Assist with maintaining dashboards and performance metrics developed by senior staff
- Support data collection for inventory, fleet, procurement, and warehouse performance reporting
Operational Support
- Coordinate daily activities with maintenance, warehouse, procurement, transportation, and logistics personnel
- Follow established logistics procedures and standard operating procedures
- Escalate operational issues requiring additional analysis or management attention
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives supporting operational readiness
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced operational environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn ERP and CMMS platforms such as IBM Maximo/MAS 8, SAP, or similar systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or government contract logistics operations
- Experience with warehouse management, shipping and receiving, or inventory control
- Familiarity with IBM Maximo/MAS 8, SAP, or similar enterprise systems
- Knowledge of GSA fleet operations or commercial fleet administration
- Experience supporting geographically dispersed operations
- Understanding of TADSS sustainment operations is desirable
Education & Experience:
- Must possess an Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred
- Relevant experience may be substituted for education
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory management, transportation, or supply chain operations
